General Course Information
What is the KOLORS Real Estate Pre-License Education program?
The KOLORS Real Estate Pre-License Education program is a
comprehensive online course designed to provide you with the knowledge
and skills necessary to obtain your Minnesota real estate salesperson license.
The program is divided into three separate 30-hour courses.
How is the course delivered?
The courses are delivered in an asynchronous online format, allowing you to
learn at your own pace and integrate your studies with your existing schedule.
What are the three courses in the program?
The program consists of:
■ KOLORS 30-HOUR SALESPERSON COURSE 1 (Asynchronous)
■ KOLORS 30-HOUR SALESPERSON COURSE 2
■ KOLORS 30-HOUR SALESPERSON COURSE 3
Can I take the courses in any order?
While you may purchase the courses at once, they must be completed
separately. Check the course schedule for any prerequisites.
Can I combine the courses or their exams?
No, the three 30-hour courses and their exams are entirely separate and
cannot be combined, even if purchased together.
Exam and Completion Information
Does each course have a final exam?
Yes, each of the three 30-hour courses has its own proctored closed-book final exam.
What does "proctored" mean?
A proctored exam is supervised to ensure the integrity of the testing process. In our case, it means your final exam will be monitored remotely.
How will the final exams be proctored?
The final exams will be administered using a remote proctoring service. You will be monitored via webcam and your computer screen will be recorded.
What is the format of the final exam?
The final exam for each course is a 100 question multiple-choice exam.
What do I need to do to pass the course?
To pass the course and receive your certificate of completion, you must achieve a minimum score of 75% on the proctored final exam and complete all other required activities, if any.
When will I receive my certificate of completion?
Your certificate of completion will be available for download in your account immediately after you successfully pass the final exam and we receive verification from the proctoring service.
How and when are course credits reported?
Your course completion credits will be uploaded to the Pulse Portal within 5 business days of passing the final exam.
What happens if I don't pass the final exam?
You will have two additional attempts to pass the final exam.
What happens if I don't pass after three attempts?
You can purchase another set of exams.
Course Access and Extensions
How long do I have to complete the courses?
The standard completion time for each 30-hour course is 8 weeks.
Are course extensions available?
Yes, extensions are available for an additional 4 weeks for a fee of $25 per
course.
Technical Requirements
What are the technical requirements for taking the course?
To access the course, you will need a computer with internet access and a compatible web browser (such as the latest version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge). You will also need speakers or headphones to listen to audio and view video content.
